(CNN) -- New dashcam video shows a Texas police officer responding to a report of a woman lying on railroad tracks with a train speeding toward her.

Officer Ramon Morales arrived at the railroad crossing in Richmond around 1 a.m. Sunday.

As soon as he pulls up, the lights start flashing and the train crossing arms lower.

In the left side of video, you see Morales running onto the tracks.

You can hear the train rumbling toward them and blowing its whistle.

He pulls the woman out of the way and into the lights from his car.

He then holds the crying woman so she can't run back at the train now whizzing past.

Neither person was hurt.

The woman was taken to a hospital for an assessment.

Police say Morales has only been with the department for about ten months.
