Bomb Squad Called After Suspicious Package Found in McLennan County

(KCEN) -- Officials say that the suspicious package that was found turned out to be a bag of flour.

Sheriff's Deputies say that they believe that this may have been a prank.


(KCEN) -- A bomb squad was called to a home in rural McLennan County after a suspicious package was found.

On Tuesday, officials say a woman in rural McLennan County went to check her mail and found a package in her mailbox that looked odd. 

She called the Sheriff's Department after finding the package. 

McLennan County Sheriff's Office's bomb squad was called to the scene near Old Mexia Road just south of Highway 84.

Officials have blocked off the street.
