The lineup also boasts in-depth performance documentaries featuring Jimi Hendrix and Mick Jagger in ROCK CITY (Tuesday, July 22) and Chuck Berry in LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL (Tuesday, July 15); classic films like BYE BYE BIRDIE (Wednesday, July 2) and THE BIG CHILL (Saturday, July 5); and acclaimed biopics THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY and LA BAMBA (Friday, July 4,) among others, before closing out with the 13-film music movie marathon on Tuesday, July 29, at 5 a.m. ET.

"Summer Sundays in HD" heats up with five critically acclaimed films, every week at 7 p.m. ET. This month's lineup includes Celine Dion in CELINE: THROUGH THE EYES OF THE WORLD (July 6); Sharlto Copley in the sci-fi epic DISTRICT 9 (July 13); and a pair of eight-time Oscar winners with GANDHI (July 20), starring Ben Kingsley, and FROM HERE TO ETERNITY (July 27), starring Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr.

SMC honors legendary screenwriter Neil Simon with a special birthday marathon on Friday, July 4.
