Police Seeing Assistance in Id'ing Attempted Sexual Assault Suspect

 (KCEN) -- Round Rock Police are asking for your help concerning the identity of a man involved in an attempted sexual assault. 

Authorities say around 10 p.m. on July 8, a female was walking home after a jog at Caldwell Heights Elementary School. She was grabbed by an unknown man near the 1300 block of Terra St.

The man pushed her to the ground and attempted to assault her but was unsuccessful. 

A nearby resident came to help when she heard the victim scream.

The suspect fled and was last seen running north through the neighborhood.

Authorities are describing the suspect as a while male between the ages of 19 to 20 years old. He's 5'9" and weighs around 130 to 150 pounds. The man has a thin mustache, suntanned complexion, brown hair and brown eyes with a thin, athletic build.

He was last seen wearing a Navy blue, hooded sweatshirt with raised yellow or gold lettering on the front. He was also wearing blue jeans and white sneakers.
