Bell County Man Turns Himself in for Sexual Assault of Family Member, Released on Bond

(KCEN) -- A Killeen man turned himself in to the Bell County Jail on July 10, for the sexual assault of a 13-year-old family member.

Bell County Sheriff’s Deputies had received a report of the sexual assault of a minor in May of 2014. The assault had occurred in March of this year.

Bell County Sheriff’s Investigators with the Special Crimes Unit concluded after an investigation a 13-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by 18-year-old Dante Jamal Lee of Killeen. Lee is also a family member of the girl.

Investigators presented a case to the Bell County District Attorney’s Office on July 9. And the Bell County D.A. charged Lee with Aggravated Sexual Assault.

After turning himself in Lee was released on a $75,000 bond.
