(KCEN) -- Bellmead Police have a suspect in custody for a robbery that happened at a Dollar General store located in the 4200 Block of Bellmead Dr. on July 6th.

When Bellmead Police arrived at the Dollar General they discovered through surveillance video a tall, thin black male entered the store. He wasn't wearing shoes and had on dark clothing.

The suspect walked to the manager’s office and handed a note to the store manager saying, “Don’t say nothing please, I will kill you.”

An undisclosed amount of money was handed to the suspect and he left the store.

No injuries have been reported from the robbery.

The suspect has been identified as Howard Davis.

Davis had been a person of interest during the investigation due to him being in the area. A matching description of the suspect and Davis was also given during the robbery.

Davis was found at a local motel by patrol. He was brought in for questioning in which Davis confessed to the robbery.

He was then charged with Aggravated Robbery.

Police conducted a search warrant for Davis’ motel room. There they recovered stolen items from the Dollar General.
