New York City, New York (PRWEB) July 17, 2014
Circle Wealth Management (CWM) Founder and Managing Partner Maria L. Chrin has been honored as one of 40 Women to Watch Over 40. Ms. Chrins inclusion in this years group of honorees recognizes her leadership in developing a groundbreaking and highly regarded wealth management platform considered disruptive of traditional industry models for its ability to serve the previously unmet needs of investors, especially women and their families.
Ms. Chrin, a 15-year veteran of Goldman Sachs & Co., launched Circle Wealth Management in 2007 after joining forces with fellow women trailblazers on an exhaustive search for a wealth management system that would meet their individual needs.
After spending five years interviewing and working with many types of firms, it became clear to me that a new wealth management model was needed, says Ms. Chrin. CWM was designed for individuals and families who want to work with a firm where transparency is the norm, attention to detail is part of the DNA, and the companys interests are always aligned with those of the client. We are passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience that transcends investment performance.
The 40 Women to Watch Over 40 organization was founded to recognize the contributions of highly experienced professional women. Christina Vuleta and Whitney Johnson founded the list to challenge age stereotypes and raise awareness that over forty is, in fact, when many women come into their most productive era.
Among the other recipients for 2014 are Dr. Alissa Johnson, the White House Deputy Chief Information Officer; Celia Pronto, Marketing and E-Commerce Director for Ford Retail Group in the UK; and Kara Walker, a contemporary African-American artist who explores power, repression, history, race, and sexuality in her work and whose recent installation at the Domino Sugar Factory drew over 130,000 visitors in its two-month run.
It is a great honor to be recognized alongside these and other women who are willing to take risks and challenge the status quo in their respective fields, noted Ms. Chrin. I am hopeful that the recognition this organization provides will encourage and embolden other women to bring their ideas and passions forward to make the world a better place.
