(WFAA) -- McKINNEY — McKinney police have arrested a 66-year-old man for allegedly luring children into his garage with candy and then fondling them.

Jamie Edwan is charged with indecency with a child. He was booked into the Collin County Jail on July 18 with a bond of $100,000.

Police said a child victim came forward and said the suspect used candy as a lure and then was inappropriately touched by Edwan in his garage, located on Newport Lane in McKinney.

According to a search warrant, a girl told police she and her sister were riding bikes when they were approached by a man who asked if they wanted candy. They followed him into his garage, where he said the candy was in a box on a high shelf and had one of the girls get on a stepstool and reach for it.

Both the girl and her sister told police that while the victim was on the stool the man put his hand down the girl's pants and touched her genitals. The sister told police she told the man to stop, but he did not until the victim grabbed his hand and moved it.

The girls later identified Edwan out of a photo lineup. They said they met Edwan in March, and that he was very nice in the beginning, offering the girls candy, soda, and chips, and sometimes turning the bed of his truck into a small swimming pool for neighborhood kids. They said he'd ask for a hug after he gave them candy, and they would give him a "side hug" and he would "pat her on the butt with an open hand."

The girls told police that he did not touch them when his wife was home, and that he would act differently when she was there.

Officers did not say how many alleged victims there, are or how old they may be.
