Renton, Washington (PRWEB) August 20, 2014
TOPICS Entertainment (http://www.topics-ent.com), sponsor of TheFlashcard.orga Blog for Language Educatorsis pleased to announce the second installment in a two-part series: The Tossed Language Instruction Salad of Flipped Learning.
The series examines the exclusive use of video lectures for the self-directed learning component of Flipped Learning and whether or not they can consistently engage all students or some students at all. It also questions why other forms of multimedia instruction are rarely discussed, and if, in conjunction with video lectures, they could provide variety and better engage students. The post also suggests and provides online alternatives for explorative learning to be used with video lectures.
The series is written by The Flashcards chief contributor and editor Don Gibb. Gibb brings a wealth of experience as a learner of Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), an ESOL and Special Education teacher, businessman, entrepreneur and writer. The last few years, Gibb has been employed by, or a consultant for, some key education tech publishers in the digital language learning space.
