Does your child have what it takes for a perfect Mutton Bustin' ride? Here's your chance to put those skills on display!

According to a Facebook post from the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, registration for the Mutton Bustin' event at the 2020 rodeo is now open.

Mutton Bustin' is the highlight of the night for many parents at the San Antonio Rodeo. Chubby-cheek kids hold on to the backs of sheep for dear life as their woolly friends trot aimlessly across the arena. Rodeo fans erupt in cheers from the stands as these bite-sized Bravehearts bust through the gates.

Potential riders can register for Mutton Bustin' here. According to the San Antonio Rodeo, registration is limited to boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 7 and weighing less than 55 pounds.

A waiver and release form must be completed prior to competition. Riders will be randomly selected from qualified entries and will be notified no later than December 1, the San Antonio Rodeo says.

The rodeo has already announced its first group of entertainers performing at the 2020 event

Keith Urban, Sammy Hagar & The Circle, Chris Young, Cody Johnson and Brad Paisley are slated to perform next February.

Next year's rodeo will take place February 6-23, 2020. Tickets are already on sale for the event and can be purchased here.

Let's rodeo, San Antonio!
