Police and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested in Central Texas on Wednesday a 17-year-old who was wanted for capital murder in the San Antonio area.
Isaiah Luis Westman was taken to the Killeen City Jail to await extradition back to Bexar County, where he was accused of fatally shooting 17-year-old Zachary Segura in the backseat of a car after a struggle over a backpack on Feb. 25, according to our sister-station KENS.
Police in Converse, TX first notified Killeen Police on Tuesday that Westman had ties to Killeen, where he was caught at roughly 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, a KPD spokesperson said.
Converse Police and the Texas Rangers were still investigating the case on Thursday.
