The woman accused of killing a Central Texas tow truck driver was booked into the Bell County Jail Monday night.

Sybil Warrick, 56, was arrested in her home state of Arkansas on May 2 -- roughly a year after Investigators said she was driving a minivan and allegedly struck and killed Killeen tow truck driver Scott Bowles on I-14 in Harker Heights.

Warrick was taken into custody in Fort Smith, Ark. on a Texas warrant charging her with criminally negligent homicide. She was extradited back to Bell County, where she was booked at 8:52 p.m. Monday and held without bond, according to online jail records.

The indictment against Warrick said she failed to vacate the lane closest to Bowles' parked tow truck and did not adequately slow down before she allegedly drove onto the shoulder of the highway and hit him.
