Two men arrested following shots fired into homes

Arrests made following a short vehicle pursuit in the early morning hours

BELTON, Texas — Two people are in custody, including one juvenile, after they allegedly fired shots into multiple homes early Thursday morning in Belton.

Deputies responded to homes in the 5900 block of Sophie Lane and the 3700 block of Canyon Heights Drive shortly before 1:00 a.m. when they heard additional shots on FM 439, not far from the where the call came in.

Christopher Alan Anderson and a juvenile male were found and arrested following a short vehicle pursuit. Both suspects are also believed to be responsible for shots being fired into at least one other residence earlier in the evening.

Alan was booked into the Bell County Jail and the juvenile was taken to the Bell County Juvenile Detention facility. Both are being held pending further investigation.
