Two people wanted for failed burglary attempt at Temple Home Depot

A man and woman tried to get away with $600 worth of merchandise but had to leave it in the parking lot when an employee came after them.

Two suspects wanted in connection with a burglary attempt at the Temple Home Depot.

TEMPLE, Texas — Temple police said a man and woman tried to steal $600 worth of merchandise from the Home Depot in Temple.

Police released surveillance photos of the two suspects Monday.

Police said they walked out of the store on Nov. 14 with a basket full of items but when a store employee approached them they ditched the basket and left.

Anyone with information or who recognizes the two people should call Temple police at 254-298-5500 or the Bell County Crimestoppers at 254-526-8477.
