How much attention do you give your legs when you shower?
Do you deliberately wash them, or do you think the water runoff is enough to get them clean?
The internet was, of course, divided on the topic.
It seemed like the majority of Twitter users were pro-leg wash.
A poll posing the question posted by user Conor Arpwel received more than 850,000 votes with about 80% of people saying they wash their legs.
But some of those voting in dissent were adamant about their beliefs.
One user said she only washes her legs when shaving to protect her skin's natural oils.
"I do not (unless I'm shaving) and I feel vindicated and confident that my skin's essential oils are intact," Kelly 4 Dayz tweeted.
Others just didn't see the point in washing them.
"I don’t wash my shins really in the winter, but when it’s summer I do. Idk, I just don’t feel like when I wear clean pants every day I need to wash my whole leg, but I get my thighs for sure. Also, I don’t really wash my arms in the winter either," Twitter user Cele said.
Pro-washers took issue with the thought of the "trickle down" effect, noting the state of the water as it makes its way down the body.
"I’m very bothered by the 'soap running down my legs counts as washing them' gang. Very. Very," Prayer Hand Mami tweeted.
"So people really just walking around with clean everything else but dirty legs?" Jordyn tweeted.
After the poll took off, its creator wanted to set the record straight: He's on side leg-washer.
"My name is Conor Arpwel and I am a leg washer.
"Leg washing is an important component of my cleanliness regimen, but also I’m not out to get people who don’t wash their legs for various reasons.
"I only meant for this whole thing to be a fun and frivolous topic of conversation. Lol"
