AQUILLA, Texas — An 11-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was hit by an SUV Monday morning near Aquilla.
Police said the girl was walking across the street on FM 933 near FM 2114 around 10:20 a.m. when she was hit by a Jeep SUV.
The girl was taken to Cook Children’s Hospital.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The driver was not charged.
