Lane will build on a rail-served 21-acre site in the Temple Industrial Park.

Lane Enterprises, INC announced Friday they will build a $16.3 million manufacturing facility in Temple, according to the Temple Economic Development Corporation.

High-Density Polyethylene Pipe and corrugated metal pipe will be produced from the facility.

Lane will build on a rail-served 21-acre site in the Temple Industrial Park and will create 21 new jobs with a $1.2 million average annual payroll.

Temple EDC approved a real estate agreement at their September 2017 board meeting.

Charles Ayres, Temple EDC Vice President said they are honored that Lane Enterprises chose Temple.

“The company has been a leader in manufactured products and services to the construction industry since 1934,” Ayers said. “We always welcome new jobs and new investment to help grow our City but it is an added value when you are able to attract a company that has integrity, loyalty, and reliability as part of its corporate culture.”

Lane Enterprises is a full-line manufacturer of corrugated metal and plastic drainage products. The company operates several plants in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern States producing several types of buried structures for storm water management, water quality, small bridge application and the construction industry.

Lane Enterprises President Patrick Collings said the Temple facility will be their first facility in Texas and their 12th facility in operation.

“We look forward to partnering with contractors, engineers, municipalities to serve customers from our new Central Texas location,” Collings said. “The Temple facility will serve the growing Texas market as well as support Lane’s customers in Mexico.”
