2 Hamilton teens killed in rollover crash in Comanche County

Felicity Kidd, 16, and Patricia Deelynn Tubbs, 16, were traveling south at 75 mph along SH 36 around 1:15 p.m. in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup when the vehicle went off the road, rolled over and came to a stop on the driver’s side.

COMANCHE COUNTY, Texas — Two Hamilton teenagers were killed Monday in a rollover crash in Comanche County, Texas Department of Public Safety officials said. 

According to investigators, Felicity Kidd, 16, and Patricia Deelynn Tubbs, 16, were traveling south at 75 mph along SH 36 around 1:15 p.m. in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup when the vehicle went off the road, rolled over and came to a stop on the driver’s side.

Officials said Tubbs, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Comanche County Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

 Kidd, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, DPS officials said.

Investigators did not say who was driving. It was not immediately known what caused the driver to veer off the road.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
