Bell County Fire Marshal investigates house fire in Rogers

The cause of a house fire that started in Rogers Thursday morning was under investigation by the Bell County Fire Marshal.

Rogers, TX — The Bell County Fire Marshal was investigating the cause of a house fire that started in Rogers Thursday morning.

The Rogers Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call of a fire around 3:30 a.m. When firefighters arrived on scene they called other volunteer fire departments for help.

Troy, Little River Academy, and Buckholts Volunteer Fire Departments arrived on scene to help them put out the fire. First responders were also on scene, including Temple EMS.

The fire was contained, and the scene was clear around 6 a.m.

The cause of the fire was still unknown Thursday afternoon, but they do believe it was accidental. Firefighters said the house was no longer livable.
