TEMPLE, Texas — The Belton High School Magic Belles have been invited to perform in the 130th Rose Parade in Pasadena, California on Jan. 1, 2019, FNCH account executive Daniella Delgado said.

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Wednesday, Dec. 5 the dance team will host a fundraiser at Hat Creek Burger Company in Temple, Delgado said. A percentage of the sales will help the team pay for travel costs to make it to the parade, according to Delgado.

The team will perform part of its routine in the parking lot of the restaurant at 5:30 p.m, Delgado said.

The Varsity Magic Belles team has 50 talented dancers, and won the 2018 Medium Team National Championship at ADTS Nationals at the University of North Texas in March, 2018, Delgado said.

The 105th Rose Bowl Game is between Big 10 Champion Ohio State University (6) and Pac-12 Champion University of Washington (9).
