Body of missing man found on Brazos River, McLennan County Sheriff's Office says

GHOLSON, Texas — The McLennan County Sheriff's Office said it found the body of a 39-year-old man who went missing Wednesday night on the Brazos River. 

Louis Hajek was last seen at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, and the search in the Gholson area started this morning. 

The sheriff's office said Hajek's family reported him missing about 7 a.m. Thursday. The family told deputies they believed he may have fallen into the river. 

A helicopter was used in the search. It was up in the area of Gholson on the east side of the Brazos River.
