The Girl Scouts of Central Texas put out a call Tuesday for nominations for its Women of Distinction award.
The award honors women in Central Texas for their leadership, personal achievements and support of the community, according to GSCTX Public Relations Executive Hannah Bruno.
A local business or organization will also be honored as a Workplace of Distinction for its support of women's success and dedication to elevating women into leadership roles, Bruno said.
The event is scheduled for May 16, 2019 at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center.
Nominations can be completed online or downloaded as a PDF from the website.
