Fort Hood officials have identified the Soldier who died from  his injuries suffered in a high-speed chase accident after refusing to pull over Friday in Killeen.

Fort Hood officials have identified the Soldier who died from his injuries suffered in a high-speed chase accident after refusing to pull over Friday in Killeen.

Pfc. Stacy Jordan Hardy, 20, of Beaverton, Oregon, was thrown 100 feet off his motorcycle after colliding with a minivan. Jordan was fleeing from officers - reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour when the collision occurred. Two passengers inside the minivan were injured.

Hardy entered active-duty military service in January 2015 as an Infantryman, according to a press release from Fort Hood.

He was assigned to 3rd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas, since June 2016.

Hardy's awards and decorations include National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal and Army Service Ribbon.

Killeen Police Department is handling the investigation.
