Four Waco homes evacuated after gas line break

The Waco Fire Department sent its hazmat unit to the scene at the Chimney Hill North subdivision.

WACO, Texas — The Waco Fire Department said on Twitter around 7 p.m. that a natural gas line break led to the evacuation of four homes at the Chimney Hill North subdivision. A contractor hit the gas line, according to the department. 

The fire department said it is helping Atmos Energy with this hazmat situation at the intersection of Chimney Place and MacArthur drives.
