KILLEEN, Texas — Killeen City Councilman Jim Kilpatrick is in the hospital battling COVID-19 after his wife, Judy Rilling Kilpatrick, died of heart failure on December 15.
According to Kilpatrick's post on Facebook, he has been fighting COVID-19 for a week at AdventHealth. The post also asked for prayers from the community.
The Kilpatrick family lost Judy to pulmonary fibrosis lung/pulmonary artery hypertension diseases that cause heart failure.
