KILLEEN, Texas —
The Killeen Community Center is opening its doors as a ‘warming station’ to offer temporary relief from the cold Monday.
Because of the near-freezing weather that is coming, the center will open at 10 p.m. Monday night for those needing overnight relief.
The warming station is set up to offer relief from cold but does not offer full sheltering services.
The center is located at 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Killeen.
