Large pothole causing traffic on I-35 near McLane Stadium fixed

Multiple vehicle have reported flat tires and damaged undercarriages because of debris on the road, Waco police said.

WACO, Texas — Drivers reported a large pothole on I-35 south near McLane Stadium in Waco, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. At about 2:09 p.m., TxDOT public information officer Ken Roberts said the pothole was fixed. 

The Waco Police Department said there's debris on the road near exits 335 A and B and Forest Street.

Police also said multiple cars have flat tires and damaged undercarriages because of the debris on the highway. Traffic was backed up about three miles around 2 p.m., TxDOT said.
