A Rockdale man who was arrested in late March after deputies found him passed out behind the wheel and in possession of more than $800,000 cash, gambling equipment, and firearms was sentenced to one day in the Milam County Jail Monday.
Rock Clinton Eanes, 40, was also ordered to pay restitution of $60.00 to DPS after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Misdemeanor, DWI. At the time of the incident, Eanes was charged with a felony DWI, 3rd or more.
According to the Milam County District Attorney’s Office, in a separate civil action in connection with his arrest, Eanes entered into an agreed settlement with the county in which Milam County Kept $540,515.95 of the contraband funds and $291.047.05 was found to not be contraband and returned to his attorneys.
