CENTRAL TEXAS — The 26-year-old Central Texas woman who had not been seen for nearly two weeks has been found safe.
On Monday, Waco police announced Erica Guevara had been located in the Waco area.
Waco Police Sgt. Patrick Swanton said her family reported she had not been seen since she began walking to a friend's house around 7 a.m. on April 10. According to Swanton, Guevara has a mental health disability.
"She is safe and family is extremely grateful for this community's help in locating her," Swanton wrote in an email.
