KILLEEN, Texas — There was some confusion at Montague Village Elementary School this afternoon.

Students and staff reported that a white SUV was driving slowly around the playground during recess, and one student said someone in the car was taking pictures with a cell phone, according to Killeen Independent School District's Facebook page.

Staff immediately moved all the kids into the school and alerted military police, the post said. Military police patrolled the area while the kids and staff stayed inside.

Turns out, it was a student's grandmother who was driving the SUV, and she just wanted to take some pictures of her grandchild.

The district said all children are safe, and the school was given an all clear from military police.
