TROY, Texas — A 19-year-old died early Thursday morning after a rollover crash on I-35, according to the Troy Police Department.
Police said Jeffrey Glenn Beatty of Riesel was driving southbound in a 2003 Toyota Tundra when the pickup left the road, went down an embankment and rolled over.
The pickup stopped rolling on the service road a the intersection of N. Central Ave. and Windmill Rd.
The crash was reported around 5:40 a.m.
Investigators said Beatty was not wearing a seat belt during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
