TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple Health & Bioscience District is opening its doors to the public, for the first time since the ribbon cutting ceremony in 2015, to host an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday.

The non-profit organization will also reveal its website to spread the word about resources available for biotechnology startups, researchers, physicians and students.

The THBD started as a piece of legislation in 2003 and is now a fully operational office and lab for biotechnology and health-related startup companies.

Temple Mayor Tim Davis and Tami Annable, Temple Health & Bioscience District executive director plan to attend the open house.
