WACO — Two people were sent to the hospital and six people lost their homes after an apartment fire in Waco Wednesday morning.
The fire started around 2:30 a.m. at the Camel Apartments in the 3200 block of West Waco Drive. According to fire officials, four apartment units were affected. The two people who were sent to the hospital had minor injuries.
One person had to be rescued from a window.
The cause for the fire is currently unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
