Mexia Police Department releases photos of shooting suspects

MEXIA, Texas — The Mexia Police Department said it is looking for two suspects in connection to a shooting in the 1000 block of East Hunt Street on Thursday. 

Darin Dionta Gray, 30, and Travion Diquin Gray, 23, are both wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said. Both are considered armed and dangerous and shouldn't be approached.

Two people were hurt in a shooting in the 1000 block of East Hunt Street in Mexia, the Groesbeck Police Department said on Facebook around 5:45 p.m. Thursday. The victims were taken to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, the post said. 

In addition to the Groesbeck and Mexia police departments, the Texas Highway Patrol, the Texas Rangers and the Limestone County Sheriff's Office were all at the scene investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
