WACO, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation said it wants to hear from drivers about what they want to know about I-35 construction. TxDOT said updating motorists about construction causing delays in the 96-mile construction zone goes hand-in-hand with improving the busy corridor.

I-35 construction efforts will be more focused in Waco from 12th Street to North Loop 340, so TxDOT said it wants people to take part in a brief, anonymous survey about I-35 construction.

The survey will be open until May 31, 2019.

The I-35 expansion in Waco will improve mobility and safety for drivers, TxDOT said. The improvements include expanding from two to three lanes in both directions, expanded roadside traveler information and converting frontage roads from two-way frontage to one-way.
