CENTRAL TEXAS — Uber Eats announced it would be bringing its meal delivery service to over 70 percent of the U.S. population by the end of 2018. On Thursday, Killeen, Laredo and McAllen-Brownsville became part of the massive rollout.
The expansion is part of an initiative by the ride-sharing company to bring Uber Eats to markets with smaller Uber rides use.
In Killeen, customers can choose from Lily's Cakes, O'Brien's Pub, Chef Ras Kitchen and Sweet Eileen.
Laredo deliveries include Pat's Kitchen, Raul's BBQ, Jalapeno's Pizza and Wings, TKO Sports Bar and La Unica by Shiloh.
McAllen-Brownsville eaters can get deliveries from Bar-B-Cuties Smokehouse, Motoramen, Wichito's Buffet and Restaurant, Kato Sushi and Papa Taco.
