WACO, Texas — The Waco City Council approved $5 million dollars for a riverside development in its meeting Tuesday.
The council is working with Catalyst Urban Development out of Dallas to build a multi-use property called the Brazos Promenade.
The property is located between the Brazos River and University Parks Drive, and runs from I-35 to Webster Avenue.
Over the next couple of months, the Waco City Council will be taking public input on the development. Construction for the Brazos Promenade is expected to begin in September.
