COPPERAS COVE, Texas — A Copperas Cove house was ruled a total loss after a fire broke out Monday morning in the 3100 block of Louis Lane.

Kempner Volunteer and Southwest Bell County fire departments both helped put out the blaze, which took about an hour to control.
