An Ellison High School graduate helped carry Rev. Billy Graham's casket into the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
Staff Sgt. Jeremiah Anderson Kaapa has been a member of the Army's Honor Guard for the past three years. He commanded the group Wednesday as they carried Graham into the Capitol Rotunda.
His mother Vanessa told Channel 6 it has been a great blessing for him to represent Graham.
Staff Sgt. Kaapa was actually scheduled to end his duty with the Honor Guard last week, but he was specially selected to take part in Wednesday's ceremony. He'll be going to train as a drill instructor in April.
