Voters will cast their ballots in the joint primary runoff election from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 22.

Democrats Andrew White and Lupe Valdez will face off in the governor's race, while Democrats Julie Oliver and Chris Perri compete for the District 25 U.S. Representative nomination and Mary Jennings "MJ" Hegar and Christine Eady Mann vie for the nomination in District 31.

At the state level, Republicans Scott Cosper and Brad Buckley will race for the District 54 representative seat, while Cody Harris and Thomas McNutt fight for the District 8 nomination. In District 13, Ben Leman and Jill Wolfskill will battle it out.

Lampasas residents will learn whether Edith Wagner Harrison or Trina Hudson will win the Republican nomination for district clerk, following a deciding coin flip in an election that rose to prominence because of a dispute over a refrigerator.
