TEMPLE, Texas — Former President George H.W. Bush was laid to rest Thursday after three days of celebration and mourning.

Monday, just three days after learning of the passing of the beloved 41st U.S. president, Bush's remains were flown from Houston to Washington D.C. where his body laid in state and thousands of mourners paid respects and showed honor.

Wednesday, a state funeral filled with sobs, laughter and an emotional eulogy given by Bush's son George W. Bush was held in our nation's capitol.

The celebration of Bush 41's life concluded Thursday after an emotional funeral service in Houston where mourners paid their respects to the President at St. Martin's Episcopal Church. We then had a ride-along view from Locomotive 4141 as it carried Bush 41's remains to the George Bush Presidential Library Center in College Station where he was laid to rest.

Here's a recap of all three days in videos and pictures.
