A 21-year-old Temple woman accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy is behind bars.
According to an arrest affidavit, Savanna Spurlock was at a house party in August with “preteens, teenagers and adults,” when she and another woman had sex with the boy.
The teen’s mother told investigators that her son snuck out of the house in mid-August and went Spurlock’s apartment in Temple. She said her son admitted to having sex with Spurlock in her bed and knew she was 21, arrest records said.
The teen told investigators that Spurlock told him not to tell anyone because “she would go to jail for 10 years,” according to the affidavit.
Investigators said two other people reported that the boy and Spurlock admitted to them that they had sex and the boy spoke of the encounter again during a SANE exam, the affidavit said.
Spurlock is charged with sexual assault of a child younger than 17.
