The 4th ranked Baylor Lady Bears beat Kansas State 65-50 in the Ferrell Center to improve to 2-0 in Big 12 play.
The 12-1 Lady Bears carried over momentum from a 17-point win over Texas Tech in Lubbock, while the Wildcats had some swagger going into the game after a 30-point win over Oklahoma.
Kansas State is now 0-5 against ranked opponents so far this season.
The Wildcats' Junior forward Peyton Williams led all scorers with 18 points Wednesday night, but she was 7-of-17 from the field.
As for the Lady Bears, center Kalani Brown put up 16 points and 9 boards. Forward Lauren Cox scored 13 points and snagged 10 rebounds to record a double-double for Baylor.
The Lady Bears next game is 3 p.m. Saturday against TCU in Fort Worth.
