St. Louis man motivates some of the best in the world of sports

He wants to motivate. He wants people to release their potential. He wants to help people get there.

ST. LOUIS — He was a basketball player at Ladue High School in 1997. Ben Newman was a solid player with a good looking three-point shot, but nothing spectacular.

So how does he help some of the top athletes and college programs win titles? Through motivation.

Newman was successful in the insurance field. For 10 years, he was a producer in the top 2% in the world for a Fortune 100 Financial Firm. However, Newman had a passion beyond selling insurance.

He wanted to motivate. He wanted people to release their potential. He wanted to help people get there.

After chasing that passion part-time, he turned pro as a motivator.

Now, Newman is one of the top performance coaches in the country. He will speak to major corporations and major college sports teams. He wants them to be at their best.

From Nick Saban to Carson Wentz, Newman is making sure people in the most competitive fields in the world have a little edge.
