All lanes of traffic on Hwy. 6 were shut down Wednesday, according to the Speegleville Volunteer Fire Department.
The department said power lines were coming down across Hwy. 6 before Speegleville Rd. after a lightning strike possibly hit a pole. The road was shut down for safety reason.
Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
