WEST, Texas — A man was thrown from an SUV and killed Wednesday on I-35 in West.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the man was driving north near County Line Road when he lost control on the wet road of a GMC SUV and hit the concrete barrier.

An 18-wheeler then hit the SUV. The impact of the crash ejected the driver from the SUV and killed him.

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.

No charges have been filed.

The crash remains under investigation.
