DING DONG, Texas — The Ding Dong Volunteer Fire Department is gearing up for its annual community BBQ fundraiser, on April 27.

The event will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the fire station located at 258 Triple 7 Trail.

Admission for adults is $15, while children can enjoy the feast for $10. Children aged 10 and under are admitted free of charge.

Come rain or shine, attendees can expect the same mouthwatering brisket and sausage, accompanied by an array of sides.

Despite the absence of entertainment, organizers promise that the star of the show will be the "absolute best brisket ever," along with the homemade sides that patrons have grown to love over the years.

In addition to indulging in tasty barbecue, attendees are encouraged to explore volunteer opportunities with the fire department, especially during daytime hours when many volunteers are at work.

Interested individuals can drop by the fire station or visit the website for more information on how to get involved.

With spring in full swing, residents of Ding Dong and beyond are invited to join in the festivities, knowing that their contributions will help ensure the safety and well-being of their community.
