Magnolia Market kicks off 5th annual Silobration

People from across the country made their way to downtown Waco to celebrate the fifth annual Silobration at Magnolia Market Thursday.

WACO, Texas — Thousands of people from across the country made their way to downtown Waco to celebrate the fifth annual Silobration at Magnolia Market Thursday.

For Kathryn Hager, the owner of Rambler and Company in Wichita Falls, coming to the Silos to sell her products is a must.

"We're just super humbled," Hager said. "This has helped our business in many many ways. We met so many people and networked."

Hager and other mom-and-pop vendors see the Silobration as an opportunity to get their products more exposure.

"It's USA apparel, 100% cotton. We hand print each of them in our shop," Hager said. "The messages are very inspirational, and we just want to provide inspiration all around."

Between shopping, guests can enjoy food trucks, a concert and even ride a Ferris Wheel.

"We just moved to Texas, and we've been watching the show for so long so we just wanted to visit the Silos," one Silobration visitor said.

People are encouraged to park at McLane Stadium, where free shuttles will take them to the Silobration.

To keep the Silobration safe, Magnolia representative said for all guests have to walk through metal detectors and are subject to a safety screening and bag check.

Visitors can get in the Silobration through the entry point at 8th and Webster or at 6th and Webster.
