The Harker Heights Police Department on Monday identified the 35-year-old victim in Saturday's fatal shooting as Thomas Raymond West.
West was found lying on the ground and bleeding in the 1000 block of Indian Trail around 6:48 p.m. on March 10. First responders tried to save his life, but he died at the scene.
No suspect had been named, as of Monday evening. Police said the crime was still under investigation.
