KPD: Second suspect involved in chase also robbed a convenience store

Joshua Aaron Bishop is accused of robbing the Mickey's Convenience Store on Stan Schlueter Loop.

Killeen Police said the armed man who robbed the Mickey's Convenience Store located at 4302 Stan Schlueter Loop in Killeen on Monday was also the second suspect involved in the pursuit that resulted in a six-hour standoff on Tuesday.

Killeen Police Spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez said while officers were on Moonstone Drive for the standoff that led to another man's arrest Tuesday, they spotted 22-year-old Joshua Aaron Bishop, of Killeen, and realized he was the same guy from the store robbery the day before. Neither of the two employees who were in the store during that Monday robbery were hurt.

On Thursday, the Bell County District Attorney's Office returned a complaint charging Bishop with aggravated robbery with a firearm. Bishop was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Claudia Brown, who set his bond at $100,000.
